Late Night Zendaya made Emmy history for the second time, winning an award for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Drama Series for the role of Rue Bennett. euphoria.

And because she previously won the same award in 2020, last night Zendaya became the first black woman to win an Emmy twice for Best Leading Actress in a Drama Series, and the youngest actress to win two acting awards in Emmy history.

Zendaya may have been surprised by the win, but fans knew she deserved another Emmy after her heartbreaking performance in Season 2, Episode 5, “Stand Still Like Hummingbird”.

Zendaya deserves every Emmy for portraying Rue in Euphoria, but that scene in Season 2, Episode 5 deserves all the awards and accolades. Nika, Zendaya, and Storm eat and vomit! It’s all indescribably haunting, wonderful and powerful.
